Student Responsibilities While Studying in Canada:

Make progress towards completing your program.

Follow conditions listed on your study permit.

Stop studying if you no longer meet the eligibility requirements.
Study Permit Extension:
You may need to extend your study permit if you wish to continue your studies.
When to Apply:

Apply at least 30 days before your current permit expires.

Ensure your passport is valid beyond the extension period.

If applying before expiry, you can stay in Canada under the same conditions until a decision is made.

If your study permit expires while traveling outside Canada, you must apply for a new one before returning.
